Direct (e.g skin to skin) contact
Contact with blood or body fluids
Fetomaternal contact ,
Contact with contaminated articles ‘’fomities’’
Self - inoculation
In health care settings  , infection are often transmitted to patients by the hands of professional staff or other employees.
Hand hygiene before and after patients contact prevents many of thedd infections.
