CAUSES OF INERTILITY IN MALES


   - Sperm abnormalities:
Due to low sperm counts, poor sperm quality or both and avcount for more than 90% of male infertility case. Its cause is unknon in30-40% of cases.
Low sperm  count ( oligospermia:If the woman is fertile and young , a sperm count as 10 million /ml can bring acount conception over time at the rate of about 30% .
poor sperm motility (Asthenospermia) : Slow or zig-zig movement of sperm may have difficulty invading the cervical mucosao or penetrating the zona pellucida of the egg.
Abnormal sperm morphology ( teratospermia):Morphologically abnormal sperm cannot fertilize an egg.
extremely small ( pinpoint) head.

two heads
tail with kinks and curls
Low semen levels: below 2.5-5ml in one ejaculation.
