⁃ The symptomatic stage of infection with human immunodeficiency virus( HIV) before the onset od AIDS 

⁃ Its clinical signs include fatigue, intermittent, fevers, weightloss greaterthan 10% ,
⁃ chronic or persostent intermittent  diarrhea,
⁃ Night sweats
⁃ Diminished dekayed hypersenstivity (skin test) redponse to common allergied, presence od HIV antibodies in blood, and decreased CD4+ T-lymphocyte count. The term is not used extendively.
